I fell in love and found my furever friend last week with the help of Antonio. From my initial phone call explaining the deposit process to hold the puppy, to allowing me the time to spend with two dogs so I could make the best decision, Antonio was fantastic and patient. As first-time puppy parents, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Charlie. Our experience at Shake A Paw wouldn’t have been the same without him. The service was excellent at Shake a Paw in Union. This is our first puppy! Bryan was so patient with us as we asked to see and interact with several different breeds before we decided on our Cockapoo! Bryan answered all of our questions and addresses out concerns! Almost three years ago i brought a girl sheepadoodle from shake a paw, My family and i just had to come back and of course thanks to Caitlin we yet again got another chance to leave with a new family addition! A baby boy sheepadoodle! Caitlin was truly amazing. She was kind, funny & super helpful the process was easy and fast. Again I want to say a big thanks to her and all the wonderful staff. AMAZING!! Charlie - the sales associate was wonderful. We really didn’t go with the intention of purchasing a puppy - however I am so, so happy we ended up with one!! I wholeheartedly believe that is Charlie wasn’t there - we would have left. I went to another location and was not impressed with the customer service - the Green Brook location is the one I would recommend! Every single detail was explained with calm and patience. So glad we ended up here!! Brownie, our Cavapoo is a cutie and such a good little pup!!

My husband and I had an excellent experience finding our new puppy Murphy. He is a mini Irish Doodle and it was love at first sight! Christie was a pleasure to work with. She was very friendly and answered all our questions. She even was able to send me pictures of my puppy since his pictures were no longer on the website. That was greatly appreciated. The store itself was very clean. The puppies looked to be well taken care of. Speaking specifically of my puppy he is very happy and social. I can tell he was well taken care of during his time in the store. He was on high quality food at Shake A Paw and we continue to feed him that at home. He absolutely loves it. And even better, he received an excellent bill of health from our vet. No parasites or health issues. We really had a great experience. We recommend 🐾💙

We have 3 dogs from here that we have gotten over the last 5 years and just had our 1 year gotcha day with our latest this past month. The whole staff is really great and want to make sure you are getting the right puppy for you. They are well informed and care about all the animals. If a dog is a little high-strung or not going to be great with kids they are very forthcoming. They have always been this way with us. Before getting our last puppy we looked at another one about 2 months before that had been there for a little while. The staff remembered us and let us sit with the dog. Before we did they said she wasn’t going to be the right fit and she definitely wasn’t. A couple months later we went back and got our newest, he was perfect. All of our dogs have always left healthy and have never had any issues. They are really special people.

Two great experiences. We adopted our Rescue dog, Sammy 2 years ago and our newest puppy yesterday. They’re both adorable and we couldn’t be happier. Our next door neighbor and our across the street neighbors also bought their dogs there and had wonderful experiences , which is why I went. Charlie , the manager , was extremely kind and helpful.

I have wanted a dachshund my entire life and kept getting completely scammed while looking for a purebred!!! We have rescued all of our pets our entire lives and didn’t know where else to look for our dream pup! We found shake a paw and went a few times to meet and greet with pups! We never felt pressured or unwelcome! The staff is so kind and let you have as much time as you need to meet your forever furry friend!!!! We loved that once we adopted the puppy we were able to get information on the puppies parents and we have his family tree!!! We also were able to get the breeder information and check ourselves the breeder before making a decision! The puppies are checked weekly by a vet, and there was full transparency if the pet Had any issues prior to you adopting!! One thing I wish they were upfront about is that the price that was marked for the puppy did not include the vaccines so keep in mind that the price that they show you for the dog is not the total price cause you have to pay for any vaccines that they have already gotten as well!! Our sweet Walter is now 6 months and doing amazing and we are so thankful for the sake a paw team!!!

My mom’s dog of 10 years suddenly passed away and she was desperately lonely living alone. I’m in a different state and called Shake A Paw and spoke to Christie. She was so nice and understanding. She arranged to personally bring my mom a beautiful puppy the next day. Unbelievable that someone unknown to us would be so kind! She arrived at my mom’s front door at 11am on Saturday and surprised her with the puppy of her dreams. As a family we couldn’t be happier for my mom to be happy and for Christie to go out of her way to drive 30 minutes away to deliver the puppy. Thank you Christie for your incredible caring and for making my mom’s day!! We will forever be grateful.

I went to Shake a paw Saturday just as a spare of the moment trying my luck with a dog. I walked in and was warmly greeted by an amazing young lady who introduced herself as Bianca. I must say the service I received from her was beyond impeccable. I first chatted with Amanda on Saturday, and explained which puppy I was interested in, she was very helpful and explained she would meet with me the next day on Sunday. She was a pleasure to work with. Extremely knowledgeable, and helpful with items I needed. I would recommend Shake A Paw and if she’s available, ask for Amanda (however all the girls were helpful and pleasant Still trying to figure out the right name for him but he is very happy, as are all of us!

I am so grateful for the advice and service she gave as she made it very easy to understand (and, she even helped picking out some cute accessories to add to my little iggy's wardrobe!!). I have always been skeptical of getting a puppy from here, but with our recent experience (in August) I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. My family and I were searching for a pomsky which we were going to get locally. Unfortunately, the person whose dogs had the puppies ended up selling without giving us the opportunity. We happened to be in shake a paw “to get excited” to welcome the new puppy we were going to meet when we got that text. out of pure serendipity…there was one pomsky in the entire place. the exact color, gender, and personality we were looking for. it was an immediate yes. Bianca had helped us and provided all of the answers we needed…I asked many questions regarding their process of selecting puppies and making sure they do not come from puppy mills. Bianca was so informative and had stellar advice. our puppy was a little sick the first couple weeks which is typical when kept in a space with many puppies. shake a paw has a program where they will handle any sign of illness within the first month, which is exactly what happened. the process was very seamless. we are now almost 6 months into having her in our lives and we can’t imagine it without her. her demeanor, silliness, and loving personality has stolen everyone’s hearts. I recommend them a thousand times over.

We love Shake A Paw! This is our second time getting a fur baby for our family with them. First time, we got our Mini Goldendoodle, Tucker Oliver, 3 years ago at the Union location and this time around, we got our Mini Aussie, Sadie Leia, at the Greenbrook location. Both amazing locations with healthy puppies! We were shopping around for about two months for a girl puppy to add to our family, as it was time for Tucker to have a fur sibling to play around with and love! We had a few we bonded with in our journey, however, nothing like our Mini Aussie we got days ago with the help of Brittany! Brittany was super helpful, patient, caring, knowledgeable, and sweet! She helped us with any questions we had about her and her breed, her health, her family traits, etc. You can tell she loves her job and animals! Brittany took good care of her while she was on hold for us until her pick up & always so gentle with our Sadie. We brought Tucker with us to meet his sister and take pictures all together at departure, and Brittany showed love to him by giving him some treats & a matching mini blanket and squeaker in one so "he wouldn't feel left out" so thoughtful!! Although they may be a bit pricey, if you can do it, go for it because puppies always come home healthy from our last experience and our newest, and they really do live by "meet your forever best friend" because our fur babies are our best friends and the sweetest fur babies :) it's so worth it at the end of the day. If you end up on your search for a puppy at Shake a Paw Greenbrook, ask for Brittany!! You can look at all the available puppies for both locations online before going & it's always up to date instantly! I had the most amazing experience with Shake A Paw. I was extremely nervous about getting a puppy but Bianca eased my nervousness. She was so helpful, and reassuring. She explained every detail to me and I left there feeling a lot less nervous. I cannot say enough great things about Shake a Paw Green Brook, and Brittany in particular. Brittany was beyond professional. We had the pleasure of being in the store for extended visits on Valentines day, the next day, and today (pick up day!). We were there for hours each time playing with each of the two pups we added to our family (brother and sister from same liter) We witnessed Brittany's professionalism in every interaction we were a part of as well as many others throughout the day. She clearly loves her job and takes a personal interest in finding forever homes for every pup in her care. She gave us excellent advice throughout and was as thrilled for us as we were! I truly wasn’t expecting to get a dog when we walked into Shake A Paw on a rainy Saturday. My wife had gotten her dog from this location years ago and had such a wonderful experience that we decided to stop in just to see the puppies and brighten up a gloomy day. Then I saw her — a Cavachon puppy I instantly connected with. The staff brought her out for us to play with, and I was smitten. After all, bringing a new pet home is adding a lifelong companion to your family. We came back the next day to visit her again, and it was clear — she was meant to come home with us. I purchased a miniature dachshund from the store and had one of the best experiences of my life. Specifically Bianca made me feel very welcomed. She was extremely knowledgeable and very patient when it came to all of my questions as I am a first time dog owner. You can also tell that she has a true passion and care in what she does. So much so that I decided to come back three weeks later and purchase my second dog with her as guidance. She allowed me to stay in the store for almost 3 hours to really think about my decision and to spend as much time with the animal before I made that decision. She has also become a lifetime resource For my dogs as I know, I can always call or text her if I have any questions or need a third-party vendor for whatever reason. The store is also extremely clean And well stocked with toys, clothes, treats, beds, anything that you would need and moderately priced. You can tell that the animals are well taken care of. My first dog already came potty trained, and all animals have their preliminary shots as well as arrangements for their first visits That is included in your purchase if you go to their specific vet. I have to say, Bianca really goes above and beyond for anything you need, But I also understand that it’s a big commitment and does not force you into any decisions. The store also has great relationships with different pet vendors around the tri-state area so they can be a great partner when it comes to anything related to your animal. I had such a great experience. I decided to come back three weeks later and purchased my second dog, and when I decide to purchase my third, you can bet I will be with Bianca and shake a pot to make my decision. They have rescues and puppies. They’re puppies often come with descriptions of their lineage and Often come with the best of the best certifications and from legendary breeders. From the moment I saw Murphy’s photo, I just knew he was meant for us. After losing my cat of 14 years, I wasn’t ready for another one, but my partner and I felt like something was missing in our little family. We already have an 8-year-old pitbull named Alexa who adores humans and small dogs and meeting Murphy was love at first bark. I have wanted a dachshund my entire life and kept getting completely scammed while looking for a purebred!!! We have rescued all of our pets our entire lives and didn’t know where else to look for our dream pup! We found shake a paw and went a few times to meet and greet with pups! We never felt pressured or unwelcome! The staff is so kind and let you have as much time as you need to meet your forever furry friend!!!! We loved that once we adopted the puppy we were able to get information on the puppies parents and we have his family tree!!! We also were able to get the breeder information and check ourselves the breeder before making a decision! The puppies are checked weekly by a vet, and there was full transparency if the pet Had any issues prior to you adopting!! One thing I wish they were upfront about is that the price that was marked for the puppy did not include the vaccines so keep in mind that the price that they show you for the dog is not the total price cause you have to pay for any vaccines that they have already gotten as well!! Our sweet Walter is now 6 months and doing amazing and we are so thankful for the sake a paw team!!!

We adopted Aristotle October of last year at Shake a Paw and we never expected such a sweet dog. This was our third and last store in a spontaneous puppy search for dachshunds. While this store did have dachshund puppies for sale, we never expected to run into Aristotle. The associates were helpful and allowed us to meet him. Obviously we took him home! And on the same day! Shake A Paw gave us a new baby but a word of advice to future adopters, take them to your vet ASAP! Despite paperwork mentioning some plaque, in reality, Aristotle had extensive periodontal disease that required most of his teeth to be removed. That came with a hefty vet bill. Health issues aside, Aristotle turned out to be a senior bundle of sweetness and we're 100% forever in love with him. ❤️ Thank you Shake A Paw!

We’ve been in search on and off to find the perfect miniature schnauzer. Last Thursday we went in to just kill some time and look if they had any cute puppies. And once we saw (Miko) we couldn’t let her stay. She’s a Christmas baby too! Brittany was super helpful & helped us with everything to set her up in the puppy stage!

I just visited here today, and got my new puppy. A 2pound little chihuahua/rat terrier 💖 the facility was clean and Joyce was very helpful! She explained everything about his needs as a very small pup (the smallest Joyce had ever seen🤣) , and she was very sweet and down to earth. Even the way the staff spoke to one another, you can tell they have a very healthy work environment. They offer health guarantees and have a rather generous policy should something genetic pop up that wasn’t caught by one of their vets beforehand. They do get vets to check them beforehand to deem them fit for sale, and you do get a free checkup within 7 days of purchase with several locations to choose from. The pups I saw ranged in price. Hovering around the 1k-4k mark. They come microchipped, they bathe them for you upon purchase as well as clip their nails and clean their ears. And YES, if your credit is good you can definitely finance. They have pretty much everything you could need for your dog there,! The dogs were all clean, well socialized and very sweet. I 100% recommend going to this place if you’re looking for a forever friend 💖
